Hi i am gonna get a new engine for my 84 bronco2 soon i was wondering what actually comes on a rebuilt engine do you get a water pump or anything like that.,
Don't know where you are from..but if you are looking for a 2.8L I have one I just pulled from my 85 BII and it only has a little less then 3000 miles on it. It has the water pump, oil pan, valve covers, intake, carb still on it. basically all you have to do is probably change carbs since mine I think has a bent piece on it. The headders are on there also and can be used but the cross over pipe for the smog pump has rusted. I did block the one port on the header sinch it broke on in a place that i couldnt get out. It's just a matter of cutting the other end of the cross over pipe off and plugging it. All that stuff does is connect to the smog pump. It passed inspection like this for me. The other thing if u use the headers is you will have to drill out the flange bolt holes and use new bolts since they wouldnt come out and i cut them. I'm looking at $500 for it the way it is. I can take pics tomorrow and send them. You can reach me at 443-865-9885..Jeff... I even have the original warranty papers from Recon that came with the motor when i purchased it.
if you buy a new long block itll come with everything you need and any motor you buy should have a parts list some will even have a list of parts the you have to salvage from your old engine usually thell come with almost every thing except the intake, distrubtor, fly wheel etc...
