is it worth it?
I've been looking for a 400 for my 77 f250 4x4. I found one today at a junk yard for $250 out of a 73 or later cougar. I was wondering if it is worth the money? they give it a 30 day guarantee also.

Make sure they have run a compression check, as long as the cylinders are within 15 Psi of eachother, heck yes its worth it, also make sure you wont run into any smog probs with where you live. I live in CA, so I am STILL running my bone stock 351m... Three more years, I am building it to a nice torquey 400..
