I just bought a 2002 Ranger XLT Splash side with the off-road package and am now looking for a tonneau cover for it. I want a hard cover that has locks on it. My dad has an Undercover on his F-150 but they don't make any covers to fit the Ranger Splash model. I've spent a couple hours searching the Internet and haven't been able to come up with much, so any information would be appreciated.
that is very nice. my 96 b2300 has a street neat drop-in and I want a cover, but don't know where to start. I've never installed a drop-in and have no idea how they go in or come out so I can make modifications. The liner is nice, but it's a pain not having anywhere to tie things down.
The sweetest hard tonneau for flaresides I've seen is the *******'s X2000. It has dual locks and very clean lines. Lots of pics can be seen in the link below:
Mine came on the trcuk, I have an 02' 4x4 XLT, and the cover is steel black covered with hard plastic. It locks with the normal key. It has hydro shocks to hold up or the close slowly due to weight. It also has a split peice inside so you can section it off for food and carrying stuff. I don't have a picture but everyone who see's mine ask about it. It must been installed by ford since a single key starts and opens the cover... check with Ford.. it's water proof as well.
