got A 61 Ford F100. while driving the hood came open. ever since when the hood is opened it scrapes against the ledge where it sits wile closed how should i fix this problem. i don't want it doing this after i paint the truck. the scraping can be avoided if two people lift from either side of the hood. any help is apreiciated thanks.
I concur with Krosati; I even try going cheap with salvage yard (junk Yard) ones and was better off purchasing from mag's. After a while they seem to pop out of hinge alingment; Check several companies to find cheapest prices. Just my initial thought..
