For the F100's I don't think there were any side marker lights. Ford added side reflectors. I'm not 100% on that. So if someone else knows for sure, please correct me.
The 68 and 69 had side reflectors. Where it say's ford on the hood is the Amber ones (also on the 70 thru 72 pickups, and later C Trucks). Then on the rear of the bed inline with the rear bumper is where the Red reflectors are located. There are also two reflectors below the taillights also red (also for the 70 and 71).
'68 & '69 Camper Specials and F350's had front marker lights made by Dietz. They ran off a separate circuit with a relay and circuit breaker mounted on the passenger side. This circuit also powered the clearance lights on the roof and the marker lights on the stake & platforms.
'70's and later got the wraparound turn signal lights in the front which made the front marker lights redundant.
Thanks BB that was very useful info as my truck is a 68 f250 camper special. my truck had clearance lights but i removed them as they were not factory, plus i did not like the look of them. also i was wondering if you had found your owner card for your truck as i am still trying to get a repo of one for my truck but the place that i found needs to see what it looks like so they can get me the right one. thanks, beau.
68f250429, I never found the owner card but I'm sure one of these day it will turn up (fingers crossed). It's kind of a bummer 'cause I had both the temporary card and it for this truck.
