Had a similar problem. Went to the forums at www.cexx.org , read some of the posts on their message boards and decided to ask for their help. They fixed my problems. My help request was under "another creature surfaces". Good Luck!

If you have winXP there is a weekly newsletter that comes out if you ask for it. You can also go to their website and read all the other letters they have sent out. Those folks know their stuff about XP. I subscribed to the letter and am always getting some kind of info that I wouldn't even think of doing...specially in the registry, but they also send a lot of really helpful stuff out weekly too.
