Harmonic Balancer removal

I'm fixing to replace the balancer on my 302 and was wondering what socket size I will need to remove the bolt. I know that I will need to get a balancer puller. So I'll need the socket size along with any removal and installation tips.

Thanks in advance, Ed

use an impact if you can or otherwise you will have to pry against the pulley.

Thanks for your input. Can you tell me what socket size to use on the nut that holds the harmonic balancer to the crank shaft. I want to be sure I have the right size socket before starting the project--I may have to buy the socket if I don't have the correct one.

Thanks
