What size is the.....
Does anyone offhand know the size (socket) of the hub retaining nut on a dana 60? Will a regular thin wall socket work to remove this or is there a special tool I need to pick up?

Depends on what year you are working on. '70 to '79 uses a 2 9/16" socket. '69 and below are small, I am not sure of the size. Any style socket will work. I have a socket I use, it is a KD Tools 2436.
