The raised white lettering one one of my tires is worn. The other 3 are all nicely white and bright except for one. Is there any paint you guys recommend that I could restore the lettering?
Is it worn or just dirty? I've used SOS pads on my white letters and it makes them shine like new.
A long time ago I used to see a white letter pen that was sold in the auto stores. It was used to make white letters out of tires that didn't have them. I recall it worked alright but haven't seen it in years.
If you go to JC Whitney on line site and search (pen white) they have a pen that is made just for scuffed and damaged white lettering on your tires. Don't know how good it is, I have never had to use one, But worth a look.
For really dirty letters use a brass wire brush, you can pick em up at any parts store and they are cheap. Works wonders and doesn't hurt your tires either!
