Will they put the same ??
Ok now for the questions!!
1. Does anybody else have this prob. 2. I have a great warranty that covers the sound system, with a $50.00 deductable, would the unit cost more than that(Stupied question) and 3. Would they put back the same kind of player same model and everthing. The reason for that is I have heard the Audiophile and in my opinion it doesn't sound as strong as the MACH (Allthough they are said to be the same !!) I love my unit that I have now, just hate the annoyance!
And I am sorry for the lengthy post
! I tend to get carried away! Thanks for any responses!2000 EB MACH 6 CD, 1 IN DASH
If you did not have a warrenty and wanted to try and fix it yourself, blowing a little air into the opening for the CD might clean the areas enough to solve the problem. Use a can of compressed air that can be found at an office supply store. When blowing the compressed air into the slot, do not stick the plastic tube too far into the slot or you could damage something. Move the tube into a couple of different places and pull the trigger briefly. Do NOT shake the can, move the can, or turn the can sideways or super cold frozen liquid will spray into the CD player and hurt it further. For those that know how, removing and opening the CD player will yield better cleaning results.
If you have a $50 deductable on your warranty, I would take the unit in to be repaired or replaced. I would not even attempt a repair and risk voiding the warranty. A new player of equal quality will cost 8 to 10 times the deductable.
