'88 hub problems...

'88 hub problems...
So, I'm not having any big problems with my hubs (yet) except a clicking noise when driving. I believe it's just the nature of the hub (the cheap red-plastic dial is probably loose). Anybody ever tackle this annoying problem? I did a search on converting the hubs but didn't find much (except that it's a really big deal on the '87-'88's). Anybody do this yet? Warn's site just tells me their parts won't fit the flange type, which I guess I have...

Well there good buddy, I just happen to have 2 flange style hubs lying around. I took that junk front axle off of my '88 and replaced it with an axle from an '82. I am looking to get rid of these hubs. There is nothing wrong with these flange hubs. I just didn't like that setup on my truck, so I installed an axle from an '82. Let me know if you are interested in them.

Well, like I said, there's nothing wrong with mine except that the plastic ***** rattle just enough to annoy me. I wouldn't want to replace them with the same thing though...I'll just leave 'em alone until they fail. Too bad the donor truck I bought has the same setup. Thanks anyway.
