Help decoding a F-600 VIN

Help decoding a F-600 VIN
I saw a F-600 flatbed truck for sale on the side of the road, so I pulled over to get some details. Only the phone number was on for sale sign, so I got some info off of the door tag. The VIN is 1FDNF60H4CVA20686. I believe it is a 1982 model, but I could be wrong. Door tag also had the following info; 21,200 GVWR; WB 171; GVW F600; Body AT8; Trans AA; Axle 61M. I was in such a hurry I didn't even look to see if it was a gas or diesel engine.
Would someone please point me in the direction to find out the transmission type, rear gear ratio, engine type, and confirm the year. The truck looks like it is in good shape and has a 14' flatbed on it, a perfect canidate for a heavy duty worktruck. Thanks in advance.
