roaring sound in front
1999 ranger 4x4 noise from front end,loud roaring sound,does this sound like any problem you've ever heard of? also noticed there are no grease fittings on front.

It could be a bad tire, or wheel bearing......

the noice seems to be on the left front side. as you slow down you here wa wa wa wa.its not the engine.

I would start with the tires, rotate them front to back and see if it goes away.

I had that noise and it was the front wheel hub bearing assembly. Buy it from Ford if your bearing is bad because it is the cheapest you will find.

Agreed, the hubs are shot. Bring plenty of $$ when you go to the dealer.
