im liking the sound of the verizon plan. we have a verizon in a local little fart of a town, so i think i will check them out first. ask about what phones they have(and do a little research on that) ask for a coverage map, and some about plans, to which i will probably get a fairly small plan(300-400min a month). although me and ryan have kinda been looking for a plan like virgin mobile, but i will have to go at least 40 miles to check one out.
One more thing about Verizon, if you aren't already sold on it. When I first got my plan a couple years ago, I made sure there were no roaming charges where I would likely be using it. I travelled a bit on the interstate system and the first couple times, I hit a few miles of roaming area. But each time I travelled, those spots got fewer and much farther between. Now they are pretty much non-existent- at least on the east coast.
a girls butt caught on fire today from a Verizon phone, it was in her back pocket and just burst into flame.
we have a AT&T pre paid no contract. however there are a lot of places we don't get service.
Quest offered us a cell for $40 a month if we tied it into our home phone.
we still don't want any contract.
