I would go with Eclipse subs, but again personal opinion, I've gone through 6 of their 12's, had two, sold one, bought another, had two for a while again, then sold those and bought 3. Currently in the process of putting 3 12's in a 3.7 cu. ft. (per sub) ported box powered by a Phoenix Gold 1500 amp. Everyone I sold these subs to absolutely loves them, they don't require much power (250 RMS, 500 MAX) and they hit incredibley hard.
I think what you should really look in to is the box, I've changed from a sealed to a ported box and it made a remarkable difference, so find a sub that is of good quality and put alot of resarch and money if need be into your box, thats where the biggest notices will happen.

Obviously you are the only one preeching these companies thus their name is sold through word of mouth. People like to call a phone number for warranty or tech issues from the company they bought their components from and would like to hear someone pick up. Not a recording saying that the number you called is no longer in service. But for your sake buy what you like.
I offered an alternative and facts to the all too pat "use JL" answer. You own stock? I can see any other reason to ride on JL's nuts.

All the companies i listed can be called, not one DEMANDS that their sellers sell the item for almost 4 times what was paid.

I do buy what i like, without your permission in fact.

I did not say they sucked, i said they cost too much for what they are, a fact which you (or ANYONE) cannot deny and be correct.....period.

JL does not return emails as fast as any of the companies i listed.

JL MSRP on any comparable item is double...sometime triple or more for any of the companies listed.

I can get more SPL, Sound Quality, warranty (5 yr), AND service, for my money from just Dayton alone.

JL will not return phone calls in near the time as the others.

Ive owned 4 of their amps, and 10 of their subs, all purchased brick and mortar, PLUS sold it as well.....i felt qualified to speak.

PLUS....i dont have to listen to the saleman feed me the same lines of bull i see here.

For all.....When I have a specific car audio q, i go to a car audio forum, not a truck one. Just a thought.

I come here to help out, thats it. If you have personal issues, get here, help, or get over it. Im done.

Wow....... someone needs a hug. But seriously, I see this way too much on this forum, people always make comments about others posts that make them angry, maybe not intentionally, but it happens. Just post your personal opinion and others can judge off of that, after all we should be happy being Ford owners here!

Exactly, i think we need to make rules, where people don't get up and yelling and screaming in another person's face. We should discuss the problem, and also view other standpoints of the problem. Renagadesrun took it maturely.. good job.
