Door tag Axle code

Hi all,

I find two different ratios on two different door tag axle code charts, any one know whats correct ???

Code: 45
I get 3.55 on one chart 4.10 on the other, I believe it's 4.10 just want to be sure.

It is a 1994 if that matters.

I don't know if this helps mine is marked C5 and all the available info says its a 4:10 rear end I will look tomorrow and see if there is a tag that says what it actually is.
Mine is a 93 F350 crew cab.

As I understand it, C5 would be a Limited Slip 4:10.

This is what I read someplace ... I forget where.

If the first digit is Alpha it's Limited Slip.
If the first digit is Numeric it's NON Limited Slip.

The second digit is a code and needs a chart ... The chart I found said 5 = 4:10.

I do not know if that is accurate info, another chart showed code 45 to be NON limited slip 3:55, thus my original query.

like everything,there's always a compromise snapon.
when it comes to limited slip diff's there is a fuel economy decrease,however how significant it is over a open diff,i just don't know.likely not a whole lot,however it probably depends on ones average terrain i guess.however,for the added traction they provide,i highly doubt the tiny increase in fuel consumption amounts to anything.a hardcore hypermiller may avoid them on purpose,but the average joe isn't going to worry about it.im an in between hypermiller and average joe,and id never on purpose think about ditching a LS diff if i had one,for an open.however i wont trade one in for one either lol.
