Eight gallons according to the book, but with mine completely drained (including the block) it holds right at seven. What test strips are you using that you need to know the capacity?
I'm using Fleetguard 3-Way Coolant test strips. And when I figured it out it came to 0.6 and to caculate how many pints I need to put in it said I need to know what the capacity of my truck is.
Another dumb question! when I add the additive do I just add it to the white bottle on top? If so will it mix from there?
The de-gas bottle is the only place you can add it, unless you want to pull the top radiator hose or are doing a coolant change. Just dump two pints in it and call it good.
