Zaino (longest lasting)--www.zaino.com
Meguiars NXT (synthetic like Zaino)--Autozone, www.meguiars.com
Meguiar's Deep crystal system (steps 1,2), followed by Meguiars #26 Tech Wax (replacing step 3)
Personally, I have not used Zaino (cost too much-but have seen the results), Love the NXT (I top coat it with #26). and the Deep Crystal system is what I used until last month. Gold Class (Meguiar's) to me is better then the deep crystal (1,2,and 3-not the #26), but not as good as the NXT
Living in Arizona, I have to way my truck at least four times a year and the best product that I have used is The Wax Shop's Super Glaze. It dose not leave resedue and if you missed a spot, it is very easy to remove. It give you a teflon feel to you truck.
Meguiars is also a good choice, but stay away from the "new fad" stuff. Pigmented wax is only good if you have a really tore up finish and the pigmentation will fade over time.
Also remember that they way you apply and remove will make all of the difference in you look. I use an orbital polisher to remove the way so that it adheries better to the surface and give a really smooth finish.
I was/am a big fan of Meguiars Gold Class, but have had some stellar results with Meguiars NXT! A couple of years ago, I swore by Mothers products but they just don't seem to last.
This thread is very timely. I just waxed (a few hours ago) my F150 with Meguiars NXT. Before that I mostly used Meguiars Gold Class. The Gold Class is good, the NXT is better. I can see the difference. Both are easy to apply and easy to remove. No idea which one lasts longer. I usually wax every 2 months.
On thought for those on the east coast and had run ins with circadas. I noticed that the body remnants got thru the wax and they were very difficult to remove. If you have any circada splatters you may want to remove them before they eat into the paint.
Meguiars Gold Class gets my vote. I tried it due to the reviews here and that stuff is off the hook... I have a crew cab and I was able to do my truck 2x, my wifes explorer 1x, and my buddies 4 door family ride with 1 jar. His car was in real bad shape and it really made it come alive. I was impressed by how good it works and lasts.
