Transmision Question Under Warrenty

Hello all i am new to this forum and found it by a search and very happy i did.,As there is alot of info i can learn.I bought a 97 mountaineer AWD in April 2002..After 4 days they had it in the garage for 9.It has been hell..,However they had to perform a wynns tranny flush because it shuttered.(rummbled at a certain speed with the gas on)However now it's been 11,000 miles and it seems to be acting diffrently. It shifts more often. If i go down a hill at 50 and take my foot off the gas to cost it down shifts at 50 and slows me down.If i am in town and rolling at say 20 and step on the gas you can feel and kinda hear it kick into gear.,And it seems to always be shifting alot more than before..I take it to the dealer and of course it's just me.I still got another 10,000 miles on the extended warrenty.,And if i take off fast with the pedal to all the way down the tac goes up to 5000 or even higher if i don't let off the gas. When i let off the gas it still rems out the engine for about 5 seconds and then shifts.Does anyone have any wisdom for me? Thankyou

Transmision Question Under Warrenty

Pushing the gas all the way to the floor. Frankly, I can't figure out what you are talking about. What does it do if you drive like other people do.

Ok what i mean is if i am getting onto the highway i need to step on it to get up to 65..I didn't really mean floor it but press on the gas peddle 3 quarters of the way down for a faster acceleration..When i do this the tac goes up to the 5 so i let off the gas because i know thats not good for the engine,However when i let off the gas the engine still rems out on 5000 rpm's for about 5 seconds or so without me even stepping on the gas..If i am going down a good size hill i let of the gas and it down shifts and loses speed rather than to cost along.,And when in town say if i am going 25mph and let off the gas to let a car go.,And when i reapply the gas it will sometimes give a kick that you can feel and hear sometimes.,And the other day when i was shifting the gears before checking the tranny fluid, It would clunk but i was told that is normal and it is the universal joints..
