Looking high and low for vent window frames. Upper and lower pivots too. I haven't been successful at trying to make a new upper pivot. But I have been able to weld new life into the lower pivot and glass channel.
I have a real nice Custom Cab '65 SWB stylside 3spd and and rowdy '66 SWB styleside 351W/c6 and both have lousy vents.
I,m in north GA. And I've had reasonable results reconstructing the frame channel and re-welding the lower pivot bolt together. But in the process of disassembly, the upper pivot broke on the female side. Truthfully, I would rather buy parts than whittle them.
I am interested in any options that can improve my situation. Including buying whole frames, or any parts that might be available.
All of my glass is good.
