i got a V8 5.0L i looove the way it sounds (especially since i used to have a toyota COROLLA) the engine sounds great, how would the exhuast sound without the muffler?
any CONS with having no muffler?

i have sucide exhaust i did my self all i have for exhaust on my BII is a cherry bomb muffler no cat it sounds like my 2.9L is a 5.0 and it gave me a noticible increase in power nothing to brag about but it works

i have no mufflers on my 2003 5.4 l, sounds awesome, can be nice adn quiet if i want it to be and nice and loud i fi need it to be, best way to go, sounds great. I put a y pipe in to make it duals, i was scared goign true dual would be too loud. I put 2.5 inch pipe in with 3.5 inch tips

I tool the muffler off my truck with a 302 the other day because it was rusted out and full of holes. I figured it wouldn't make much of a difference in noise but I was wrong. Before it was loud and now you can't talk standing next to the truck when it's on. It's way to loud now but it sounds like it's got HUGE ***** so it's ok i guess.
