Which spark plug?
This spring I purchased a 5.0 short block at a Swap meet. The price was right & I knew I should be replacing my 325K 5.0 in my 1989 f-150. The install went smooth until the end. I tried to insall my Bosch plugs from my 1989 engine into the one I purchased at the Swap meet. The plug's threads don't seem to reach far enough down the bore to start in the head's thread. Can anyone tell me what the problem is & which plug I should be using?

There are two Bosch plugs for the Ford V8s. One is the 4208, the other is the 4209. The 4209 is 13/16ths and designed for the 300-6 and pre1968 289s. The 4208 fits 351M,W,C, 302, 400, 429, 460.
