I have been told a lot of stories about the 5.4. Let me hear yours. My 5.4 has towed trailers, hauled wood and done just about everything I have asked it to do ....................and no problems!!!

I hauled a trailer with a 54 Ford f-100 all the way from Colorado to South of Houston, TX in blinding snow with mine back in Feb. And got 16 miles to the gallon. My truck was the only truck on the road that stayed on the road. Now that is tough. Ed

 

my friend has 286,300 on his 98 f-150 and he tows about 3 times a week for work original engine too

 

wow!!!! 286,000 miles?? On the same engine?? wow!!

 

I tow nothing...ummm...really my 5.4 hs had it very easy for its 45,000 miles of life. Now that it has a supercharger that story may change...

 

My Expedition hauls my wife daily. One 5 min trip with her, and you'd see how tough that is!

 

LOL too funny. I thought there would be more replies than this....

 

What kind of supercharger did you get? I have a powerdyne and am not impressed.
