After reading about the Zoodad/Tim mod, I looked at Tim's gallery. Did that mod buy you much? Could you really tell a difference? Did you do the mod after the air raid box?
I looked at mine this morning and it looks kind of restrictive down there. How do you get those plastic snaps that hold the cover between the grill and radiator off without destroying them?
The entire grill, not jsut the center, I take it out anytime I work on my truck, even to change the oil.
The screws on top and it is out. Bot the AirAid and made the mods then and there.
YES, I did notice a difference only above 60 and at 75/80 big difference.
It has a ram effect.

You take out the grill to change oil? You lost me on that one.

It is so easy, I meant to say 4 screws, allows one to stand in that area.
When I change my oil I check everything, so it just easier to remove the grill.
The truck is real hard to reach over the front.
I just got my latest catalog from Performance Products and they show a grille that looks like it was made specifically for the Zoodad modification! They call it the "AirFury Cold Air Induction Maximizer". Whatever it's called, it looks good!
