coolant cavitation

I have read articles about coolant cavitaition in heavy duty trailer pulling operations. I also recall a Ford recommendation for the antifoam additive. Can you give me more information?

Do you mean the fw-16? you are supposed to use it every 15000 miles (4 oz)

I recently purchased 93 7.3 liter diesel crewcab
F-350 49,000 miles great shape but am a little
nervous about cavitation problems. I have heard of some type of filter in the coolant system??
any advise would be helpful I am new to the diesel world and like any tips

Pick up "Wixcool" or "Nalcool" from an auto supply or a Diesel shop etc.. Drain your cooling system & fill it with 50/50 anti-freeze-water to within 1" of the top of your radiator..Also add the Wixcool somewhere along in this process.. Do this once a year & you should be ok.. Alaska, add 60/40 anti-freeze.. Bill
