93 f150 e4od slipping in reverse??
i have a 93 f150 5.04x4 witht the E4OD and it has a bauman shift kit installed set to a level 2. the tranny has 107,000 miles and although all forward shifts seem solid except for the torque converter lock up ( it feels a little slushy but doesnt have any codes). Reverse seems to be the problem. you get a nice firm drop into reverse, but when you jump the gas alittle it feels like it slips pretty good. tranny fluid was just changed and the level is good. It looks to me like i may be in trouble unless anyone has any good ideas. How long can it last if i baby it?? i cann't afford a 1200.00 tranny until fall maybe some snake oil would help hold off the inevitable??
