I have them also. They are excellent rocker assemblies. Well worth the money.

Does the Erson roller rockers have the end stands for support? Has anyone tried the Competion Cams 1046 hd kit (with end stands) or the std 1046 kit (without end stands)

The Erson's are made of two billet aluminium stands that support the entire shaft from end to end. They can handle 800lbs of spring pressure. Comp is way more expensive. I got the Erson's for 610.00.

Hey Ranchero, nice to see you back around!

The comp cams setup is made by dove. You can get the equivalent from a dove dealer a little cheaper.

OK ya those do have the needle bearings in them, but your still going to need shafts, stands and end stands....And Harland does make a good rocker...

That's where I got my Doves from (DCS). Paid $570 for them, and that was without the end stands. Those would have pushed it up to about $700. Couldn't stand that!. That's one of the cool things about the Erson setup, you don't need extra end stands with them, it's all built together, I believe. And for a decent price too, compared to Dove and Harland. I'd definitely go Erson if I had to do it again, especially now that they're more available.

And Sean, I did the 2 1/2 with x-pipe, just FYI. Side exit right in front of rear tires. I'm pretty happy with that.

You can use stock shafts and stands with rollers. Everything fits just fine. The problem is with agressive, higher lift cams you will end up snapping the ends off of the shafts. I have broken 2. Putting end stands on stock shafts will remedy this problem.

Will the Erson rockers fit under the Lemans Cobra valve covers ? What pushrods should be used Running a 390 .040 flat top with 4 valve releifs hypertechtic pistons with edel heads, RPM intake, and RPM camshaft. Edel 750 carb. For my Ranchero. Thank Guys

re-68 428 fairlane ranchero

i don't think the valve covers will fit, if they are any designed like the factory ones they won't. comp cams makes a pushrod that would work with that cam and head combo, so does crane. the comp cams # is 7533-16
