It looks like someone put a Ford cab on that half-track. It looks like a perfectly good waste of salvage parts to me.

That looks real DOT legal!! A 78 Custom on a 42 half-track chassis. Good traction in the snow I bet!! And the bullet proof tires would come in handy if you were using it to repo cars
I wonder how it would do in the sand dunes down here? Seriuosly though cool truck. Someone had too much time on their hands. Bulletproof tires? do those really exist? Why doesn't the military use them?
it's possible that it is street legal, they make special rubber pads for tracked vehicles that let them run on the street without shredding it. when i lived in arizona there was a guy that had an old half track that had the pads on it and he drove it everywhere.
