shock question

Any recommendation on shocks for a 96 xlt 4x4?

We're still happy with the Monroe Reflex shocks we added to my wife's explorer. Tighter suspension, better braking and cornering. See my older post "Best shocks for 96 Explorer AWD?".

Concur on the Bilsteins but the consensus on this forum seems to be the Monroe Reflex. Search the archives shocks have been discussed in detail a couple of times.
