I have a 96 f150 northland edition, and it has 2 shocks on each wheel in the front. Is this considerd quad shocks?

 

yes, that set-up is quad shock.

Quad shock huh? On what models did they have those, I've never seen on in person that came stock as Quad shock. I just got my 95 last week, I should take a peek under there, maybe I have quad shock

 

on the quad shock set-up, the shocks in front of the coil spring are longer, than the shocks behind the coil spring. if you tell them you have quad shocks they should be able to figure out which shocks you need.

 

My 93 F150XL 4x4 has the quad-shock setup. I can tell it wasn't an aftermarket setup either. It began it's life as a DOT truck so I think they ordered that as an option, but I can't tell as it had no paperwork with it by the time I got it.

 

If i remember right, the quad shock option came with a factory towing package.

 

both my old 87 and my 89 had the quad shocks
both had the up graded tow package
