Vehicle speed sensor needed?
I have an 87 FI 302 that was mated to an automatic transmission that had a vehicle speed sensor attached. I'm wanting to put it on an 83 T-18 manual transmission with a Dana 300 transfer case that doesn't have a provision for one. Is there a way to make this work?

Hmm, is the VSS the little unit that piggybacked the speedo cable at the tranny or did it read the ring gear in the rear axle? If it was on the speedo cable, and your transfer case has speedo cable provisions, couldn't you hook it up that way?
