What a hoot, that is hilarious. I also read all the negatives, but then talked to actual owners at truck stops and other places, they made my decision easy as they are happy with their 6.0s. Bought mine in April 04, have 3500 miles and if we are going anywhere, we are taking my 6.0. I can't wait to drive, every chance I get.

Weren't you telling us in another thread recently we can't take what we read here as evidence of anything? Or is it only when it doesn't agree with what the poster wants to believe?

So what if I'm unhappy with my motor? It's been an unreliable motor and it's certainly got a lot of company in the dept. Why is that a problem? Is it that anyone with a problem can't have a valid opinion?

Good injectors! There are people running C94's with no problem at all! And what problems were the C95 injectors supposed to fix.
Obviously it was to address the C94's that were leaking diesel past the seals and filling the crankcase with oil. The one's that are still out there may be okay or they may be ticking time bombs. I sure wasn't going to take the risk with them on my truck.

Yep, you're right. You get better with the dmax. My dmax got 2-4 mpg better unloaded than my 6.0 has ever gotten. Towing mileage is about the same.

John, where's your smiley?

04/04 with 2000 miles and lovin it. Had a bad injector at 90 miles, but was suberbly handled by roadside assistance and my dealer. They even delivered it to me 200 miles away after it was fixed.

With the great support at FTE , even if there's a problem I can be assured of a possible fix to it.

I'm a nice guy....

I rarely get there, but when I do...
it's a VERY short step "over the edge" and
I ALWAYS regret what I spew out - no matter how well deserved it may be !!

YES I did and so have many others, I have proof that this is only a microcosm of the overall truck. WE all know there is many more running just fine,… then are in the shop.
I can back my statement up, far easier than one can say all 6.0s are bad.
I could give a hoot “who” the poster is, if you cannot prove you numbers then….

If you ask for proof, call Ford, what 250k to 350k maybe 450k, 6.0's sold, and how many post of "BAD" 6.0's
Whether you will admit it or not you know this is only a minute sampling of all the 6.0s sold.

Good Lord, I'd hope so! That was not my point. My point was that you can't say "don't believe what you read here" in one post and say "read all the evidence here to support my opinion" in another. Which is it?

I'm not sure what you're saying. Are you suggesting that I call Ford and ask them for sales numbers and that performing some statistical analysis of sales number vs posts here would have some meaning? Please explain.
