Hard downshift when towing
My 03 F250 CC 6.0 experiences a very hard downshift at 20 mph when towing 7,400 lb boat. This just recently started happening frequently, only when under load and in tow/haul mode. The truck has 29,210 miles and is fantastic other than this one issue. I now take it out of tow/haul mode when I get below 30 mph as it is not a pleasant sound when it "clunks" down to the lower gear. Has anyone had this same problem?
