turbo Wheels
Hello, I have a ? concerning wheel fitment. My father bought a 83 Dodge Ramcharger with the turbine style wheels. Will these fit on my 77 4X4? I have looked for the Ford rims of this style,but they are too commonly for sale. I'm sure the bolt pattern would be the same, but what about the correct back spacing? As always any help is most appreicated.

I bought a set of tires and wheels that were off of an 80 Ramcharger. I didnt want the wheels, but they were included. They had the right number of holes, but they were in the wrong darn spot, so even if I didnt sell 'em on Ebay, they would have been no use to me.
Of course..I have a '79 4x4, so maybe there's a difference. I dont think so, though..
About 45 sec. with a tape measure will tell you if they'll work or not.

1980 and older 1/2 ton 4x4 dodge trucks had a 4 1/2" bolt pattern also. they will not fit your ford. I tried using a Ford truck steel rim on a 1990 dodge 4x4 and it would not slip over the hub, although the bolt pattern was the same. I dont think you will have a problem with putting a dodge rim on a Ford though.
