Why won't my chip work?
Hi, I have a Jet Performance chip (I know, should've gotten Diablo) for my 1995 F-150 with a 302 and a 5 speed. When I first got the chip, it worked great, loads of power, but then the power ended at some point, and went back to factory slowness, so I sent in the chip and Jet gave me a new one, and I put this one in and nothing changes, it doesn't ping with regular gas, and no power with premium, what's the deal? Is it possible that my computer fried the new one before I even got to enjoy it? I put it in with the battery off and followed directions. Has anyone ever heard of a computer that is broken and fries these chips? Any help would be great, as I'm very dissapointed.
