milege hub

Has anyone hooked up one of those milege hub things to a small trailers. I have seen them on semis trailers but not on say a 18ft flat bed trailer.

Oh large semi trailers there is a thing that mounts on the hub of one of the axles called a trailer odometer. it determines how many miles the trailer travels. I was wondering if anyone has mounted one on a small trailer. Hope that makes sense.

Its called A Hub-ometer. They come in different drive numbers. The last three numbers on the part number will be the revolutions per mile. Im not sure what size tire you have, but unless its pretty big tire, there probable isnt one made for it. If you get me the tire size I will see if its on my chart at work on Sat.
Why did you need A way to measure milage on your trailer? Semi trailers use them for maintenance intervals.

I looked on the chart and they start at 20" rims, but they do give a phone number for additional applications. 800-886-9524 The company name is Veeder-Root, Hartford Ct. Good luck with your quest.
