poor gas milege

My 94 f150 with 300 I6 GETS ABOUT 12MPG IS IT NORMAL?OR SOMETING I NEED TO CHECK. ANY ADVICE .

Depends on a lot of things like gears, and truck size (ex cab, long bed, etc.) auto or manual but I think most with that engine are doing a little better than that. How's your tune up stuff (Plugs, wires, cap & rotor.)?

It Is A Short Bed, I Just Installed New Rotor, Dist Cap & Spark Wires
And Still The Same Poor Gas Milege

What gears are you running, and what size tires? That can have a lot to do with it.

Not to butt in here but damn, that's a good looking ride, Rod. Love those plain ol' black rims--how much are they, just out of curiosity? The 88 250 I bought has cheezy directionals that need to go!

Thanks. I picked up the wheels and tires as a set of 5 off of craigslist awhile back for $325. They totally changed the look of the truck, which was what I was going for.
