well, it could be many things, from the spring on the pedal, to the throttle cable, to the spring on the Throttle body, to the throttle body itself.
I would reccommend disconnecting the cable from the throttle body. Then push on the pedal to see if it is still hard. Then you can start to isolate where the problem is.
I ended u cutting a few coils off the spring at the end of the throttle cable (the side that connects to the throttle body) and now it is a little softer. Just make sure you don't cut too much so the throttle still returns to idle when you take your foot off the pedal.
ok tanks, the TB has been replaced already. but I will start gettin this done, it is not my truck a friends and we are working on each otehrs trucks right now tryin to get mine running and his to where he likes it.
