AOD throttle valve pressure
I put a used AOD in my 1981 F 100. The throttle valve seems to be binding up even with the linkage disconnected. There is no pressure on the TV port. The truck will move in all gear positions, but it will not shift.

You can't set the pressure if there isn't any pressure to set. Zero pressure, nothing comes out the hose if I remove the gauge. Changing the position of the throttle valve linkage arm on the transmission doesn't change anything.
The throttle valve is probably stuck. It is very hard to move manually.

The inner throttle lever had slipped and was stuck between the valve plunger and the case. The push rod was pushed in and jammed. I was able to loosen the outer throttle lever, pull it out, and extend the push rod. The levers work good now and the transmission shifts.
