"Front Brake Rotor Runout"
When I bought my truck, it had 100,000 on it. The rotors were almost brand new. Now when I am replacing my ball joints at 110,000 I decided to get them turned because they are warped. I took them to the garage and the guy told me that they would warp again because he would have to turn them under spec to get them "true" again. Why has the rotor worn and warped so soon? 10k miles ?, they were napa's premium brand. Are my new ones going to warp again?
Is this a common problem with the front brake design?

If the rotors are that new, than chances are they can be turned. Were you getting any pedal pulsating while braking? If you can mic the rotors and tell me how thick they are.

Hi, front brake rotor warpage can be caused by driving and going through a puddle when the cold water splashes on them they can warp if your front brakes are dragging this will also warp them but as daleontow has stated if they were new they should be able to be cut. John
