Rebuilt Truck

I was thinking of buying a wrecked truck with a PSD in it. I was wondering if anyone out there has owned one or heard of somebody that fixed up a wrecked truck. My question is: does the motor still perform like a new one? thanks

All i know is how much T.L.C. you want put into it, take the time and reap the benefits, but cob it together and you will know. good luck
