No Pillar Gauges!!!!!!!!!
Need some answers please. I love my A-pillar oh-***** handle and I don't want to lose it. I want to mount three gauges. I have looked on the net and found some possibilities. I am thinking of mounting them adjacent to the cig lighter. I cannot tell if the set up is going to look cheezy or if there is cutting involved. Judging by the dash assembly, the area where the site shows the particular set up I am looking at is a large solid piece of plastic and not a removable insert. Anyone have a certain product they have installed and are happy with. I do not want it to look cheezy. I want a factory look, as the pillar mountings give. Thanks for your help.

auto meter makes a pod that goesover the steering column with one gauge maybe two guages will clear the handle hope this helps.

The steering column mount and the dash mount go no where near the A-pillar. No problem at all. See for yourself:

the instumenst cluster mount will not work well if you have an 02 or newer truck. It will block the fuel gauge.

Interesting, brwolfjr. That is good to know. Guess that rules out that particular mount for '02 and up owners.
