93 aerostar clock spring

hi everyone i'm new! i have a 1993 aerostar and it has been a very good van for us. We have the typical clockspring problem i have read about here many times. I have looked for a part here in canada but can only get it from a dealer and here they wont sell you one unless you have a shop or an account, which i dont. I have found a clockspring from a 93 mustang, now my question is :
does anyone know what years fit what and what clocksprings are interchangeable? if any. or do i have to get one for 1993? and does anyone know the part number for the 1993 aerostar clock spring?
p.s. this is an awesome forum and was glad to see so many ford 'guys' And go flames go!!

Try www.fordpartsnetwork.com. I got my clockspring from them, and it was cheaper than the dealer.

I got one from yard. It was off a 93 Taurus, connectors did not match, cut off the old ones and soldered the end. Minor grinding on wheel with Dremmel stone and it works just fine.
