you got it, i have the ZF tranny myself and it will jerk around if you dont hit it just right. also its synchronized so i usually ahve to roll it forward before i can put it in reverse so i dont grind the gears. but the tranny has taken yrs. of hard boggin and abuse and still runs strong. good luck

Ben a long time since I posted this. I originally learned how to drive a manual on a little Nissan, after that the only manual I drove was a Dodge, I think the problem was just that I wasn't used to the shifitng. Now if I pay some attention to what I'm doing I don't have any problems(unless I try to drive that dodge, the clutch and "gas" pedal are too soft, and the brake pedal is to hard). My Dad owns the Dodge, we don't try to drive each others pick-ups.
