i wish i could find a 2wd b II .. i went threw alot of crap to make mine 2wd with a 302 conversion ... im looken for another one so if you all see any 2wd b II's for sale hit me up with a pm or post here .. thanx

I bought a 2wd '87 bII last December. It does have a dummy x-fer case, plugged where the shaft would normally be. The Haynes I have says the plug is welded and not meant to come out. I have taken mine out in semi-serious mud holes and have yet to have a problem. I love the thing but would deffinitely reccomend a winch if you go thru mud w/ the 2wd.
