Boy am I stupid...
Boy am I stupid...
Went to gas up today and out of habit started filling the rear tank. It was taking forever and was seriously foaming.
I had to pump really slow. At like the 3 gallons in point it was filled right to the top. It was then I realized the rear tank was full and I only need to gas up the front tank. Stupid...Stupid...Stupid. To make it worse I was really getting anoid at the time it was taking to fill the rear tank... Oh well, lesson learned! Just figured I would share my stupid move of the day. Fortunately I don't have too many of them

Yeah, thats true...that would really ruin my day. I am pretty observent of which gas I am handling as I have the diesel, a race car, garden equipment, and a generator, all of which take different fuels.
Went out drinking one night in high school. Ran out of gas in a cheby truck that belonged to my buddy's dad. Walked 5 miles or so to the store, emptied our pockets and got one gallon of gas in an old milk jug. Walked back to truck,(buzz gone by now) walked over to the right side to put gas in while my buddy went to the left. You guessed it- dual tanks. You won't hear me admit this ever again.
