I'm an IDIOT!
I did a stupid thing tonight. Pulled up to the fuel pump and put 40 bucks worth of premium GAS in my truck. Noticed what I was doing whe I hung up the nozzle. That will make ya feel stupid!! I pulled her home and now I gota get it out of their. I filled the front tank clear up with gas and topped the back off with no more than 1 or 2 gallons of gas. Any hints or tips on the best way to get it out. Do I have to get every drop out or what? I did'nt run on the back tank yet but is it ok to run with 1-2 gallons in there? Any help would be welcomed. Thanks

The tank with the 2 gal. in it probably won't be a problem. Top her off with fuel and run it. The method I have used three times on three of our company trucks to solve this was... Disconnect the fuel line at the bowl. Connect a short piece of fuel hose to it. Connect an electric fuel pump to that hose. Put a piece of fuel hose, about 4 or 5 feet long to that and stick the end in a empty 55 gal barrel. Make sure the switch is on the bad tank. Turn on the electric pump. Remember your messing with gas! Don't use plastic hoses , or a plastic barrel, as static electricity can start a fire. Good luck. Don't swett it, your not the first, and won't be the last to do it.

The best plan (I hate to say this) is to drop the tank and drain the lines all the way up to the fuel bowl. Personally, I wouldn't get that carried away. You can use an electric pump, but be careful. I would also recommend adding Stanadyne Lubricity Formula and filling the fuel bowl with it along with a new fuel filter.

I was half way asleep when I put diesel in my gasser and didnt realize it until I got home and the truck was running like crap. Looked at my receipt 10 gallons of Diesel NICE> . Talk about being a DUMB A__ I went back to the store to top it off with more gas and I started to put diesel in it again. .5 gallons latter I woke up. My moto now is dont fill up any tanks the next morning after a long night or getting hammered.

Got my truck running tonight. Borrowed a pnematic diaphram pump and a couple of hoses from work and sucked the tanks dry and refilled them with diesel. Worked real good. Drove the truck around quite a bit on the tank that had mostly diesel and it ran greatn No problems. Thanks for all your help!
