Transmission Fluid

I have a 1988 F250 7.3L with manual transmission. I want to change the transmission fluid but I don't have a manual to see what kind and how much. There is a tag on the fill plug that says "Use Ford Type H ATF Only". I cannot find Type H anywhere. Does anyone with experience point me in the right direction? I talked to our local dealer, and I think I was speaking a foreign language!!?!?!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Transmission Fluid

Type "H" is fords language. Dexron III will work fine. Just for general knowledge, almost all aluminum cases usually take ATF, and cast iron or steel cases usually take Gear Oil.
