I've seen talk of brightening up the driving/fog lights on a 250 but what about the headlight bulb itself.
It appears that there is a Sylvania Silverstar 9007ST replacement bulb that could be used for the regular headlights. But I'm not 100% sure that the type of headlights I have are right.
they changed to a clear headlight in 2002, it still takes a 9007 bulb so the silverstar will work fine. you can also put silverstar 9005's in the fogs for a brighter fog light
Talking about headlamps I just ordered the wiring upgrade kit from suvlights. IT is for the dual batteries. with two seperate wiring harnesses. I was not certain about the plugs for the high and low beam relays each one of the harnesses has. Do I have to buy new relays for these kits or do I somehow use the ones already on the car? Anyone that has installed one of these dual battery wiring kits I would appreciate it.

No, it's just plug and play with the SUVLIGHTS kit I got...
It should have all 4 relays with it...
BUT, at the time I got mine... they had a batch that the highs and lows were reversed on... just a matter of swapping two wires and it worked..
They say to first disconnect the batteries... (I didn't but was very careful !)
(I would however put electrical tape on all the sharp edges of the front supports to keep from slitting your wrist when wrestling to undo and replace the plugs!) From their web site...
General Installation Instructions for Heavy Duty Headlight Wiring Harness
Unravel wire harness and lay out in your engine bay (Caution! engine may be hot!) to make sure there is sufficient length.
connect the 2 power wires (fusible links can be black, red or green to red wires on relay socket*) to the positive (+) terminal on the battery. Tip: you can temporarily disconnect the fusible links to the rest of the wire harness for easier install.
Unplug the factory headlight socket(s) on the side closest to the battery,
(i.e. if your battery is located closer to the driver side unplug the headlight socket on that side.) and plug into the mating socket (socket that resembles the back of a headlight bulb).
Plug the new wire harness headlight socket into the bulb and attach the ground wire to a major metal section of your vehicle (you may ground to the battery negative – terminal if possible). Be sure that your ground is to something that is rust and paint/undercoating free, it must also use a screw that conducts well. (note: most of the problems occurs with improper grounding.)
Do the same with the other side.
Plug in both relays (one is for low beam, the other for high beams) and apply electrical contact grease (or similar) to prevent corrosion.
Turn on your headlights.
I have a 03 F250, if I were to purchase the 9007's and 9005's what would be a fair price? How much brighter are we talking than the stock bulbs??
i have tried many different brands of bulbs(piaa,apc..etc)the high voltage apc bulbs melted the headligh plugs, the piaa's never lasted very long and were pricey. i have settled on the silverstars and you should be able to find them for around $20.00 per pair. the headlights are brighter than the stock bulbs. the stock fog bulbs are like 42 watts the 9005's are 65 watts and are much brighter
The wiring harness appears to have a double socket for the high and low beam relays but I don't have the relays that I can tell. I will write the company or call them and try to find out if they are missing.
