Question

Which fuse?

Well I just purchased my 99SD CC to pull my new 5th wheel around. When I went to replace the existing trailer brake controller, I snipped the positive wire from the harness and grounded it against the frame. Didn't think it would be to big of a deal till I found out I had no owner's manual. I went thru every fuse (I think) but they all check out, unless I missed it.

Anyone have an idea of where to look?

Did you look under the hood? I thought they were near the fender on the drivers side.

if i remember right there is a smaller fuse box underhood driver side near firewall. joe

Am I reading this correctly, You've grounded a hot wire?

The brake controller itself may have a fuse in it, have you checked for this?

I ran a new hot lead to the new controller and it works just fine. So somewhere on the truck is a fuse or relay that is blown.
